Gracious Street Methodist Church provides a large and varied suite of modern premises and all rooms are available for booking by community and other groups. There is level access (or access by lift) for wheelchairs and buggies to all rooms throughout the premises, and there are four disabled toilets in different parts of the building – including baby changing facilities and a Changing Places toilet (see www.changing-places.org) with height adjustable changing bench and hoist for those with severely learning or other disabilities and their carers.
The premises are adjacent to the Chapel Street and Fisher Street town centre car parks and coach drop-off point and near to shops and cafes. The bus station is nearby and the train station a short walk away.
The church is committed to using FAIRTRADE tea, coffee and other products and users of the premises are encouraged to do likewise wherever possible.
